Hello September!
We hope you’ve all had a good summer and have found some time to rest and have a change of pace. The Come Closer team are looking forward to this new season ahead, and are expectant of God to do what only He can do, in each of our lives. So, here is a heads up on what’s happening over the next two months at the Come Closer gatherings!
September 13th (Friday), we have the formidable and gifted Laura Oxley and Sarah Shrimpton sharing at Come Closer for the evening. They both have a ministry in music, and will be sharing something from their own life. We know they will be a great encouragement to you. Don’t miss what will be an evening of music, worship and inspiration.
October 11th (Friday) is our Come Closer Quiz night! ALL WELCOME! Why not come along for an evening filled with facts, fun and maybe some pure guesses! All are welcome to join us for this, men, women and teens. We’ll be raising funds for World Vision and also the Come Closer Christmas blessing parcels. The quiz will have various rounds, including music and pictures. You don’t want to miss it!
Tickets are just £5 and include desserts/chocolate fountain. We’ll also have a raffle on the night. So, invite your friends, family, colleagues. Why not gather a table of 6? If you don’t have enough for a table of 6, just come along and meet new people. You may just be a winning combination!

Finally, later this month we’ll be sending out details on a new Bible Study you can join with. We will also have a new read as part of the Come Closer book club. This is where regardless of location, we get to enjoy journeying through the pages of a specific book and build one another up over this coming season. More details to follow…
