Hello Beloved One,

First, thanks for taking a little time out of your day to come and be here. At Come Closer we aim to:
Come Closer to God… Through the resources shared here and the opportunities to meet together both online and in person, we want to draw closer to our heavenly Father, whose love for each of us is so magnificent.
Come Closer Together…. that everyday women (like you) would come together, pray for and cheer one another on. Come Closer is a multi-generational space seeking to unearth your God-given gifts and encourage each of us, to step out in sharing the life-changing message of our Saviour.

Our hope is to be a layer in your life that strengthens in the everydayness of things. Colossians 2:6-7 says: Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Alongside meetings, we post videos, blogs and other resources to encourage and build you up in Him.

We meet together five times a year! With a time of worship, guest speakers and simply sharing life, our prayer is that you’ll be encouraged, equipped and know Him more and more. We keep things real at Come Closer, so whether you’re feeling frazzled or just had a relaxing facial, come along and let’s be genuine together.

We are all on a journey and the women who contribute to Come Closer are no different. None of us have the same story. We’ve all faced obstacles, some harder to imagine than others, but we know that God is who He says He is, and is able to help you as you walk through each day, no matter what your past or present situation is.

(Emma Beaney is the founder of Come Closer, based in Milton Keynes. Emma believes in encouraging individuals to rise up, with dignity, strength and compassion; knowing their identity in Christ and understanding God's unique plan for their lives, and the rich treasury he has for them. Women (and Men), who, for such a time as this, will  encourage, support and cheer one another on through the gritty places of life as well the victories. To be generations together who will impact our communities in loving authenticity, be light in the darkness as followers of Jesus, and listen attentively to the Holy Spirits promptings).
