Hello there,
I wanted to send out an update on Come Closer and the journey we are currently on.
From October we made the decision to move to a new hybrid way of gathering at Come Closer with both small groups to ‘connect’ with and ‘altogether’ gatherings. This means for specific months over the coming seasons we filter into small unique groups, where you get to choose to meet either on-line (using Zoom) or in-person, with daytime or evening options (See out Connect page for more details). Running alongside our small group format will be a termly ‘together’ in-person gathering, with our first one taking place on Saturday 4th December @ 7pm for our Christmas Blessing parcel wrapping. We’ll be letting the tissue paper flow as we meet together at Newport Pagnell Baptist Church. We’re excited to see how this next season of Come Closer will unfold.
Alongside our small groups and together meetings, we will continue to bring you our blog, penned by everyday women, who simply want to share some of their journey and the things they have learned along the way.
MONTHLY FOCUS
We also wanted to update you on our monthly video focus, which we’ll send out each month. This means, if you are in a small group or not, you get to stay part of the Come Closer journey. As we continue our exploration of the armour of God in Ephesians 6, here are links to our October and November focus, which we pray will bless you.
